Model 05 · Slim cassette
Cassita awning
The Cassita is for the elevations where an awning is not supposed to announce itself. The cassette is the slimmest we fit and it hangs on two mounting points, so it can slip between a lintel and a first floor cill, or onto the narrow pier of a balcony.
Retracted, it reads as a slim aluminium bar on the wall. That is the whole point of the model, and it is why it turns up on the front of stucco fronted houses and on flats where the managing agent has opinions.

Best suited to
Is this the right one?
- Period frontages — a slim closed profile that sits quietly above sash windows or a front door.
- Installation options — including wall and rafter installation and ceiling mounting.
- Flats and shared buildings — the least visually intrusive option when a retracted awning has to be signed off by someone else.
- Narrow openings — openings up to 5.5m with a 3.0m projection.
Worth knowing before you order
- Modest projection — 3.0m is the limit. It shades a table and a threshold, not a whole terrace.
- Two points, carefully placed — the mounting positions are dictated by the structure, so the survey decides exactly where it can go.
- Not a wide span model — above 5.5m, look at the Puma or the Grey Tiger.

Two points, neatly done
Brackets are powder coated to match the cassette, so there is no raw metal on show. Finishes run from white and cream to grey and anthracite, and the fixing detail is kept as tight to the wall as the structure allows.
On a listed or conservation area property, tell us at enquiry stage and we will keep the intervention as light as we can.

Extended Width Awnings
When you need more coverage than the available wall space allows, our specialist awning brackets provide the solution. Designed to allow the awning to extend beyond the edge of the wall, these brackets create additional width while maintaining a secure and professional installation.
Specification
What you get with the Cassita
Barely there when closed
The slimmest cassette in the range, specified precisely because it has to look like it belongs on a period elevation.
Two point mounting
Two brackets rather than a continuous rail, which opens up walls and balconies that cannot take a full fixing.
Motor or crank
Motorised with a handset, or a manual crank where there is no sensible route for a cable.
Intelligent wind sensor
Available across the range. The sensor reads the gusts and retracts the awning automatically, so it is never left out in weather it should not be in, whether you are home or not.
Powder coated aluminium
Frame, arms and housing are coated aluminium, specified to stand outside in London year round without rusting or needing repainting.
Fitted by our own team
We survey, fit, wire the motor and set the pitch, then test it with you before we leave. Most installations are completed in a day.
Compare
The Cassita against the rest of the range
Figures are the maximum we would normally fit in a single unit. Wider or deeper installations are possible by coupling two awnings together, which we will talk through at survey.
