Semina Life awning
Most awnings shed a shower somewhere along the front bar and, if the pitch is shallow, some of it finds its way back towards the house. The Semina Life is designed around that: drop profile end caps and a gutter formed into the front bar carry the water out to the sides and drop it clear of the terrace.
The practical effect is that you can leave the doors open through a passing London shower and keep the table dry, which is the difference between using the garden in September and giving up on it.

Is this the right one?
- Dining right by the house — water is taken to the ends of the awning rather than running off the edge onto the table.
- Doors left open — the gutter keeps run off away from the threshold and the back of the frame.
- Changeable weather — the model to pick if your garden gets used regardless of the forecast.
- Shaded seating — the deeper front bar reads well on a terrace that is as much shelter as shade.
Worth knowing before you order
- A gutter, not a roof — it handles a shower comfortably. In sustained heavy rain the awning should still come in, and the wind sensor will bring it in for you when the weather turns.
- A deeper front bar — the profile that makes the gutter work is visibly chunkier than the Cassita or Puma front bar.
- Pitch matters more here — we set the angle at installation to make the run off work with your paving levels.
Keep the doors open
The gutter is the reason to choose this model. It is a small piece of engineering with an outsized effect on how many days a year the awning is actually out, and on whether the table nearest the house stays usable.
Combined with the standard wind sensor, it means the awning copes with the weather changing while you are mid meal rather than sending everyone indoors.
Water resistant fabrics
We specify water resistant acrylics across this model as standard, in block colours, weaves and stripes. They shed light rain and dry quickly once the awning is retracted.

Integrated rain gutter
Formed into the front bar rather than bolted on, so it channels water to the end caps instead of letting it sheet off the front edge.
Drop profile end caps
The shaped caps carry the water clear of the terrace and finish the awning neatly at both ends.
Pitch set on site
The angle is set to your paving and aspect on the day, which is what decides where a shower actually ends up.
Intelligent wind sensor
Available across the range. The sensor reads the gusts and retracts the awning automatically, so it is never left out in weather it should not be in, whether you are home or not.
Powder coated aluminium
Frame, arms and housing are coated aluminium, specified to stand outside in London year round without rusting or needing repainting.

We survey, fit, wire the motor and set the pitch, then test it with you before we leave. Most installations are completed in a day.
