Model 06 · Full cassette
Bobcat awning
The Bobcat is an honest entry level awning. The cassette system protects the fabric and the awning mechanism when retracted and it is the lightest and the cheapest thing we fit.
That suits a sheltered position. Under a deep roof overhang, a balcony above, or a recessed back door, the building does the job the cassette would otherwise do and you keep the saving.

Best suited to
Is this the right one?
- Residential and commercial locations
- Tight budgets — the lowest cost way to get proper made to measure shade rather than a parasol.
- Little required maintenance — a courtyard or side return that gets used in light weather.
- Smaller spans — up to 4.5m wide with a 2.5m projection.
Worth knowing before you order
- Lighter frame — it retracts sooner in wind than the heavier models, with winds up to 38 km/h. The sensor option is worth having.
- Manual or automatic? — Integrated LED lighting in cassette with sensor options for sun, wind and vibration
- Visible hardware — the roller and arms are on show when closed. Some people like the look of it; it is worth knowing either way.

Commercial space
If you have a bar/pub/shop front where you need cover for those queueing or maybe sat outside. The awning not only protects those underneath but creates shade for the inside of your store, meaning saving your furniture from UV damage and costs for air conditioning.
XXXXXX
Every Bobcat is still cut to your measurements and fitted by our own team, with the same fabrics and the same installation as the rest of the range. It is the specification that is stripped back, not the making.
Specification
What you get with the Bobcat
Full-cassette protection
with aerodynamic lines concealing mechanical installation elements
Motor or crank
A handset and wall switch, or a crank handle. At this size the crank is genuinely easy to use.
The same fabric book
Entry level frame, full choice of fabrics. Nothing about the awning above your head has to look cheap.
Intelligent wind sensor
Available across the range. The sensor reads the gusts and retracts the awning automatically, so it is never left out in weather it should not be in, whether you are home or not.
Powder coated aluminium
Frame, arms and housing are coated aluminium, specified to stand outside in London year round without rusting or needing repainting.
Fitted by our own team
We survey, fit, wire the motor and set the pitch, then test it with you before we leave. Most installations are completed in a day.

The Bobcat against the rest of the range
Figures are the maximum we would normally fit in a single unit. Wider or deeper installations are possible by coupling two awnings together, which we will talk through at survey.
